Hi, I suppose I'll post an intro, if anyone even reads these things. I've been on the system a little while, but have only gotten active with it in the last
week or so. I'm located in northern California and am 39 years old. I'm not married but in a wonderful relationship with somebody whose not on any of these
systems. We're planning to have me move in with her hopefully soon. Friendship is a good thing, though, and I like these sites I guess so I can find people
who might think the way I do or share some of the same interests. Right, let's get to the interests thing. I like a whole wide variety of music, including
but not limitted to progressive rock, old electronic music of hte Seventies, New Wave, classic reggae and ska, Celtic music, Blues, classical, jazz, and
some things that are hard to describe. I do not care for country, rap/hip-hop, top 40, heavy metal, opera, smooth jazz, or most techno/dance music. I enjoy
science fiction, horror, some fantasy and mystery, whether it be books or movies or TV. I'm a big fan of old and not so old-time radio. I also collect
talking clocks and novelty radios. I'm also starting my DVD collection and enjoy old low-budget sci-fi and horror flicks. I'm totally blind from birth,
due to ROP, or RLF as it used to be called. OK, I think that's enough of a description.

Hi labyrinth,
its wonderwoman from e-pals. welcome to the sight. I like old and not so old old time radio also, like the cbs radio mystery theater, and imagination theater. I have a collection of about 54 cds of old time radio. I have, cbs radio mystery theater, the mysterious traveller, lights out, the whistler, inner sanctum, the strange doctor weird, the hermits' cave, the weird circle, the clock, and a lot more I can't remember off the top of my head. I like to read suspense thrillers, mysteries, horror, and some fantasy, depending on the type of fantasy. Well, take care, and have a nice evening,

I like all those series you mentioned and I have thre volumes of CBS Mystery Theater. I was probably almost 9 years old when that started airing. I think I also might ahve come across Zero Hour, but never really listened to it. I don't ahve some of those series you mentioned yet, but my collection's nearly as large as yours with some 40 CDs.

I have the zero hour, at least all the episodes the lady i get them from has. I thought i'd run totally out of stuff to order, but she keeps updating the catalogue, and I've been collecting them about a year and 5 months. She labels the cds, like 1 2 3, etcetera. I have 6 cds of the cbs radio mystery theater.

Methinks we should somehow get in touch off the system and compare notes or something. I doubt anyone but us is interested in the topic. And why hasn't anyone else said hi? Hehehe!

I'm another one who loved "The CBS Mystery Theater" when it was on. I recognized the voices of a number of the actors and actresses from the soap opera, "The Edge of Night." I don't think anyone could have sounded as good as E.G. Marshall as the announcer either. Sue Starfas

I was only 8 or 9 years old when the show originally aired, and had discovered the actual old shows on other stations. This was during the big nostalgia craze that happened in the Seventies. I actually recognized a few of the names of the actors because I also heard their names mentioned as talking book readers.

I don't think i could get use to anyone except e g marshall as host. Hyman Brown was the producer, so you'd think it only natural that he'd be the one to narrate it, and I think he did, but i'm so use to e g marshall hosting it. I think I vaguely remember Bill and Martha marseau from the edge of night, I think they're in a couple of episodes. And i recognize some oldtalking book narrators as well, like guy sorrell, Leon janey, ralph belle, and Carmen Mathews was in at one episode I have. As for why people aren't saying hello to us labyrinth, that might be an interesting topic to discuss off the system.

I love old time radio!
I like suspense, the shadow, adventures of sam spade, black chapel, black castel, black museum, quiet, please, the clock, even though I never listened to it, and the cbs radio mystery theater. I also like 2000 pluss, x-minus one, and dimention x! Ok, now for some mystery series: I love a mystery, adventures by morse, I love adventure, and the hermit's cave, along with the weird circle, and escape!

I also like lights out, and, gun smoke!

That's all I can think of for old time radio shows.

I've got some good sites for you if you wanna download old time radio shows.

For quiet please programs, try
quiet please dot org,

For other programs including the battling bickersons, gun smoke, and many more! Try
radio lovers dot com.

Just hope that worked... If not, just paste the address in the quotation marks into the address field of your web browser, and it'll take you to the site.

Happy listening!
